Beyond100K

Tackling the nation’s STEM teacher shortage and supporting STEM educators.

As a Beyond100K partner, the Center for Excellence in STEM Education, along with the Physics Teacher Education Coalition, is committed to increasing the number and quality of math and science teachers serving West Virginia's students, K-12.

Beyond100K unites the nation’s top academic institutions, nonprofits, foundations, companies and government agencies to address the nation’s STEM teacher shortage. Together, we are tackling systemic challenges, fostering belonging in STEM learning environments, and preparing and retaining 150,000 new STEM teachers. By giving STEM teachers the support they need, we are helping to educate the next generation of innovators and problem solvers.
