To expand equitable access to high-quality computer science education for all Raleigh County students by empowering educators, counselors, and school leaders with locally relevant professional development, career-connected curriculum, and meaningful pathways that prepare students for success in college, careers, and an increasingly digital world.

Our Vision

To build a sustainable computer science education ecosystem in rural West Virginia where every student discovers their potential, explores diverse career opportunities, and graduates with the confidence, skills, and support needed to thrive in the workforce of the future.

PROGRAM GOALS

Curriculum Adaptation

To develop and implement culturally responsive computer science curriculum that connects learning to West Virginia’s career clusters, local communities, and real-world opportunities so that all students can see themselves in computer science pathways.

Teacher Empowerment

To equip teachers, counselors, and school leaders with sustained professional development, collaborative support, and practical resources that build confidence and capacity for delivering engaging, high-quality computer science education.

Long-term Impact

To create a lasting and scalable computer science education ecosystem that increases student participation in CS courses, strengthens career readiness, and expands future opportunities for students across rural West Virginia.
